POS Order Types
The POS Order Types module allows you to create, manage, and assign different order types such as Dine In, Take Away, Delivery, or Pickup directly in the Point of Sale. The selected order type is shown on the POS screen, receipt, PDF receipt, and stored in the backend POS order.

⚙️ Workflow
- Open the Point of Sale and go to Configuration → POS Order Types.
- Click New to create a new Order Type.
- Enter the Order Type name. The description field is optional.
- View and manage all created Order Types from the list view.
- Go to Settings → Point of Sale → POS Order Types and select the Order Types you want to display on the POS screen from Available POS Order Types.
- Save the settings and open or refresh the POS session.
- On the POS screen, click the Order Type button.
- A popup dialog appears showing all available Order Types. Click on an Order Type to select it.
- The selected Order Type is immediately displayed on the POS screen.
- The selected Order Type is printed on the POS receipt.
- The selected Order Type is also displayed on the printed PDF of the POS receipt and saved in the backend POS order.

1. POS Order Types Menu
Open the Point of Sale and go to Configuration → POS Order Types.
2. Add New Order Type
Click New to add a new Order Type.
3. Enter Order Type Details
Enter the Order Type name. The description is optional.

This is the list view of all Order Types you have added.
5. POS Settings Configuration
Go to Settings → Point of Sale → POS Order Types and select the order types you want to display on the POS screen from Available POS Order Types.
6. Order Type Button on POS
Click the Order Type button on the POS screen to select an order type.
7. Order Type Popup
The available Order Types are shown in a popup dialog. Click on an Order Type to select it.
8. Selected Order Type on POS Screen
The selected Order Type is displayed on the POS screen.
9. Order Type on POS Receipt
The selected Order Type is displayed on the POS receipt.
10. Order Type on PDF Receipt
The selected Order Type is also displayed on the printed PDF of the POS receipt.
11. Backend POS Order
The Order Type is successfully updated in the backend of the POS order.
