Stripe Statement Collection
Overview
This module provides a seamless integration between Stripe and Odoo by automatically capturing Stripe transactions and importing them as bank statements in real time. Whenever a payment, refund, or fee occurs in Stripe, a webhook is triggered and the data is synchronized directly into Odoo. Each transaction is converted into a clean and structured bank statement line, including Stripe fees as separate entries, ensuring your accounting stays accurate and up to date.
In addition to real-time transaction imports, the module also automates payout processing by generating internal transfers when Stripe deposits funds into your bank account. This eliminates manual work and simplifies the entire reconciliation process. With a straightforward configuration, it allows businesses to keep their Stripe activity fully aligned with their Odoo accounting, saving time and minimizing errors.

Stripe Statement Collection
- First, configure the Stripe Payment Provider in Odoo.
- To do this, go to Accounting >> Configuration >> Payment Providers.
- There, locate the Stripe Payment Provider and click on it.
- Enable the Stripe Payment Provider and enter the required Publishable Key and Secret Key to connect with Stripe.
- Click on Generate Webhook to automatically create the webhook endpoint in Stripe.
- Go to the Configuration tab.
- In this section, you will find all the Statement Collection related settings.
- Configure the settings as shown in the image below.
- Whenever the customer makes a payment through Stripe, a corresponding Statement Line will be created automatically.
- To view it, go to Configuration >> Journals.
- There, you will find the Stripe journal. Click on it to open.
- Then, click on the Journal Entries smart button.
- Here, you can see that statements are created for the User Charge, with a separate line also generated for Stripe Fees.
- You can see that the Bank Statement Lines including Fee are created under Transactions of the Stripe Journal.
- You can then Reconcile them with the matching entries.
- Whenever a Refund occurs in Stripe.
- A corresponding statement will be created for the Refund.
- Whenever a Payout is made by the user from Stripe, an Internal Transfer occurs automatically.
- The amount is transferred from the Stripe Journal to the Destination Journal.
- To view it, navigate to Configuration >> Chart of Accounts.
- Click on View and then on the Balance smart button. There, you will see the Debit/Credit lines according to the Transfer.
- The amount is credited from the Stripe Journal.
- The amount is debited to the Destination Journal (Bank).
- You can view all the Journal Entries by navigating to Accounting >> Journal Entries, where journal entries related to the transactions will be posted.
