POS Customer Limit and Customer Loading

Adds limited customer loading with optional background loading in POS.

Navigate to the Apps menu in your Odoo dashboard. Search for cr_pos_partner_limit or Pos Customer Limit in the module search. Click Activate on the module card to install it.

From the main dashboard, click on Settings.

In the Settings menu, navigate to the Point of Sale section from the left sidebar and configure your shop.

Under the POS Interface, enable "Limited Customers Loading" to restrict initial customer load.
By default, 10,000 customers will be shown.

Reduce the customer load limit (e.g., to 5) to improve POS performance and speed.

Navigate to the Point of Sale application.

Select the appropriate POS location, and click the Open Register button to begin.

After clicking on the POS Shop, it will open the POS session.
On the left side, at the bottom, you will see the Customer button. Click on it.

Only the customers within the set limit will be shown in the list.

Go to POS settings and tick Load all remaining customers in the background under the POS interface section.

After enabling this option, all customers will be visible in the customer list.
