POS Product Limit and Product Loading

Adds limited product loading with optional background loading in POS.

Navigate to the Apps menu in your Odoo dashboard. Search for cr_pos_product_limit or Pos Product Limit in the module search. Click Activate on the module card to install it.

From the main dashboard, click on Settings.

In the Settings menu, navigate to the Point of Sale section from the left sidebar and configure your shop.

Under the POS Interface, enable "Limited Products Loading" to restrict initial customer load.
By default, 20,000 customers will be shown.

Reduce the customer load limit (e.g., to 5) to improve POS performance and speed.

Navigate to the Point of Sale application.

Select the appropriate POS location, and click the Open Register button to begin.

When you open the furniture shop session, only the products within the set limit will be displayed, as shown in the screenshot below.

Go to POS settings and tick Load all remaining products in the background under the POS interface section.

After enabling this option, all Products will be visible.
