Step-by-step guide to configure and use classifications in your CRM workflow
Configure Classifications
To configure classifications in the CRM module, navigate to the configuration settings in Odoo. Follow these steps:
- Go to the CRM module.
- Click on Configuration in the top menu.
- Select Classifications to view or create classification records.
- Create new classifications (e.g., "High Priority," "Low Priority," "Hot Lead") by filling in the form.

After configuring classifications, apply them to CRM leads or opportunities:
- Open the CRM module and go to the Pipeline or Leads section.
- Select an existing lead or opportunity, or create a new one.
- In the form view, locate the Classification field (usually a dropdown).
- Choose the appropriate classification (e.g., "High Priority") and save the record.

View Classifications in Tree Views
Classifications are visible in both the tree (list) and form views of leads/opportunities:
- Tree View: Open the Leads or Pipeline section and switch to the list view. The classification column displays the selected classification for each lead/opportunity.

Search and Filter by Classification
Use classifications to quickly search and filter your leads for better organization and productivity:
- Navigate to the CRM module and open Leads or Pipeline.
- Use the Search bar to filter leads by classification type.
