Synchronize Instagram Leads with Odoo CRM

Supports multiple Pages and multiple Lead Forms with advanced field mapping and automatic team assignment.

Configuration

  1. Sign in to your Facebook account.
  2. Visit Facebook for Developers – Apps and click Create App. Provide a Display Name and your Contact Email Address.

  3. Select your Use Case to create your App.

  4. In your App, choose Instagram and complete the setup.

  5. Go to App → Settings → Basic. Copy your App ID and App Secret and paste them in Odoo configuration.

  6. In Odoo, navigate to CRM → Configuration → Settings. Under Instagram Leads Settings, paste your App ID and App Secret. Then click Get Access Token.

  7. You’ll be redirected to Facebook to grant permissions. Be sure to select every page and Instagram account you want to synchronize.

  8. Once access is approved, you’ll return to Odoo where an access token is created. Click Get Pages to load all your connected pages with their tokens.

  9. Navigate to CRM → Configuration → Leads & Opportunities → Facebook Pages. Open the page you wish to synchronize and click Get Forms to fetch all forms linked to that page.

Usage

  1. When a form is submitted on Instagram, the corresponding lead will automatically appear in Odoo → CRM → Leads.

  2. A scheduled cron job runs every hour to fetch any leads not yet imported.

  • The module continuously imports any missing leads. If you delete a lead, it will be re-imported in the next sync. To avoid this, archive (deactivate) unwanted leads instead of deleting them.
  • Supports integration with other Odoo models, such as Partners or Mass Mailing Contacts.
