Customer Credit Limit Management for Sales
Set per-customer credit limits in Odoo 18 and automatically warn or block sale order confirmation when the limit is exceeded â with manager override support.
Standard Odoo does not enforce credit limits on sale orders. This module adds a Credit Information tab to each customer, shows remaining credit on sale orders, and blocks or warns users when confirming orders that exceed the credit threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the credit limit apply to draft quotations or only confirmed orders?
- The credit limit check triggers when confirming a sale order in Odoo 18. It also applies when editing an already-confirmed order if the total exceeds the limit.
- Is the credit limit based on unpaid invoices or total order value?

- Is this compatible with Odoo Community edition?
- Yes â compatible with Odoo 18.0 Community and Enterprise on Odoo.sh and On-Premise. Requires the Sales module. Not available for Odoo Online (SaaS).
