- Does changing the description in the order line update the product's description in the product form?
- No â the description edited in the order line is specific to that order line only. The product's master description in the product form remains unchanged in Odoo 18.
- Does this work for credit notes and debit notes too?
- Yes â the separate description column appears on Customer Invoices, Vendor Bills, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes in Odoo 18.
- Will this conflict with other modules that customize the order line view?
- The module uses standard Odoo view inheritance to add the column. Minor conflicts with other view-customizing modules are possible â contact us for compatibility assistance.
- Is this compatible with Odoo Community edition?
- Yes â compatible with Odoo 18.0 Community and Enterprise on Odoo.sh and On-Premise. Not available for Odoo Online (SaaS).
