Amazon Order-Wise Financial Journal Entry in Odoo

Automate Amazon financial reconciliation, settlements & journal entries in Odoo

Key Features

  • Fetch financial events using Amazon SP-API
  • Automatic journal entries for fees, taxes, refunds, shipping, and promotions
  • Configurable journals and accounts
  • Scheduled cron jobs for automated sync
  • Order-level reconciliation for accurate reporting
  • Works with Amazon FBA & FBM sellers

Description

The module automatically imports Amazon settlement and financial events (fees, taxes, refunds, promotions, shipping charges and reimbursements) and generates accurate journal entries in Odoo — eliminating manual imports and reconciliation overhead.

Designed for both Amazon FBA and Amazon FBM sellers, accountants and finance teams, the integration supports configurable journals and account mappings so you control how each Amazon financial event posts into your chart of accounts. Use the built-in scheduled cron job for fully automated synchronization, or trigger syncs manually for ad-hoc reconciliation.

The module offers order-level reconciliation to match Amazon settlement lines with Odoo sales/orders, improving reporting accuracy and making it easier to track Amazon fees, promotions and tax liabilities per order. It handles recurring settlement patterns and is designed to create idempotent, consistent journal entries so your books remain audit-ready.

With configurable journals & accounts and scheduled cron jobs, Amazon sellers and accountants save valuable time, reduce errors, and keep financial data always in sync with Odoo.

What it syncs

  • Amazon settlement reports and financial events via SP-API
  • Fees (referral, FBA, variable closing fees), shipping and fulfillment charges
  • Taxes and tax-related adjustments
  • Refunds, reimbursements and promotional adjustments
  • Promotions and coupons applied to orders

Configuration

  1. Install and configure the sale_amazon module.
  2. Connect your Amazon Seller account in Odoo.
  3. Go to Settings › Amazon FBA and set up:
