Threads Integration Usage Guide
This guide will walk you through how to use the d_social_threads module in Odoo to manage Threads posts, interactions, and analytics.

1. Module Overview
The d_social_threads module integrates Threads with social media management system, allowing you to: - Sync Threads posts and engagement metrics (like, share, reply, ...) - Publish new posts from Odoo to multiple threads account - Reply to any threads post inside odoo
2. Accessing Threads in Odoo
- Navigate to Social Marketing -> Configuration -> Setting in your Odoo instance.
- Ensure you have fill both client id and client secret obtain in meta developer.
- Link your threads account, go to Configuration -> Social Media you will see button Link Accounts appear in Threads kanban
3. Syncing Posts and Engagement Data
3.1. Syncing Threads Posts
- Click the Synchronize Posts and Synchronize Engagement button in the Social overview dashboard.
- Odoo will fetch all the latest Threads posts along with their engagement data.
- The following details will be retrieved:
- Post content (text, media)
- Likes, comments, shares, reposted, views
3.2. Viewing Engagement Metrics
- Click on any synced post to view detailed engagement metrics.
- Available metrics:
- Total likes
- Total comments
- Total shares
- Total views
- These metrics help assess post performance directly within Odoo.
4. Publishing Posts to Threads
4.1. Creating a New Post
- Navigate to Post -> Create Post.
- Select Social Account(s) with your Threads account as the target platform.
- Enter post content, hashtags, and attach media (images, videos).
- Click Post to publish immediately or Schedule to post later.
5. Managing Comments and Replies
5.1. Viewing Comments
- Open any synced post from the Overview.
- Click on the Comments section (with the comment icon) to view all replies.
5.2. Replying to Threads
- Select a post and click the comment icon.
- Enter your reply with optional media (image/video) and click Post.
- Replies will be posted directly on Threads.
5.3. Replying to Comments
- Select a comment and click Reply.
- Enter your response and click Reply.
- Replies will be posted directly on Threads.
6. Troubleshooting
Common Issues:
- Post Sync/Link account Fails: Check your API credentials and ensure your Threads account is linked.
