German HOAI Honorarberechnung (Architects & Engineers Fee Calculation) The Honorarordnung fuer Architekten und Ingenieure (HOAI) is the mandatory German fee schedule for planning services. Every architect and engineering office must derive a defensible Honorar (fee) from the anrechenbare Kosten (chargeable costs per DIN 276), the Honorarzone (object difficulty class), the Honorarsatz (between Mindest- and Hoechstsatz) and the share of the commissioned Leistungsphasen (service phases 1-9) -- today this is almost always done in a fragile spreadsheet.

Linear interpolation between the two bracketing Honorartafel rows for the actual anrechenbare Kosten entered, exactly as HOAI Sec. 6 requires. DIN 276 Kostengruppen breakdown to derive the anrechenbare Kosten, with a default anrechenbar/nicht-anrechenbar flag per Kostengruppe and object type (editable per case). Honorarzone Punktbewertung helper: score configurable Bewertungsmerkmale (planning requirements, technical installations, structural requirements, functional areas) and let the module propose the Honorarzone from the weighted point total against editable zone boundaries. Leistungsphasen 1-9 grid with the standard percentage weights per object type (seeded, editable) -- select the commissioned phases and the module sums their percentage and applies it to the interpolated Honorarbasis. Grundleistungen and Besondere Leistungen per phase can be noted. Also Sec. 8 Abs. 2 HOAI 2021: for LP 2 and 3 the fee for those two phases together may not be reduced by more than 50% -- flagged as a reminder, not auto enforced (case dependent). Umbau-/Modernisierungszuschlag (Sec. 36) and Nebenkosten (Sec. 14) as percentage surcharges on top, producing the Nettohonorar with a full per-Leistungsphase breakdown, plus an optional Umsatzsteuer top-up. Honorarermittlung QWeb PDF matching the structure architects submit to clients and to the Honorarpruefung.
