Overview
KRA TIMS Novitus Integration is an Odoo module that connects your Point of Sale (POS) system with Novitus Electronic Tax Register (ETR) devices and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). It enables businesses operating in Kenya to comply with Tax Invoice Management System (TIMS) requirements by automating fiscal data exchange, invoice validation, and real-time reporting.

Configuration

Activate Fiscal Printer
Go to Point of Sale ▸ Configuration ▸ Settings enable the Fiscal Printer, and enter the printer’s IP address along with the port.

Taxes Configuration (PTU Value and Factor Type)
Navigate to Accounting ▸ Configuration ▸ Taxes.
Set PTU Value and Factor Type Values.

Set KRA Product Name and Taxes
Go to product and set KRA Product Name and Taxes.

Create and Validate PoS Order
Go to PoS, then create and validate the PoS order.

View Fiscal Log
Go to Point of Sale ▸ Configuration ▸ Fiscal Log
