Cash In / Out Management
This module provides a streamlined way to manage cash entries (In and Out) directly from Odoo’s accounting interface. It’s designed to help businesses record quick cash movements that don’t necessarily originate from a point of sale, ensuring better control over physical cash boxes.
Key Features
- Direct Cash In/Out Operations:
- Adds intuitive wizards for recording cash infusions or withdrawals.
- Allows users to specify the reason and amount for each cash movement.
- Accounting Integration:
- Automatically generates the corresponding journal entries in the designated cash journal.
- Ensures that the cash balance is updated in real-time, reflecting the physical state of the cash box.
- Flexible Counterpart Accounts:
- Supports selecting specific counterpart accounts for different types of cash operations, providing better financial categorization.
Usage
- Navigate to Accounting > Dashboards.
- Locate a Cash journal.
- Use the Cash In or Cash Out actions (if available in the journal’s menu or dashboard).
- In the wizard that appears, enter the Amount, Description, and select the appropriate Counterpart Account.
- Confirm the operation to create the accounting entry and update the cash balance.
