EuPlatesc Payment Provider (Odoo 18)
This module integrates Odoo with EuPlatesc, a prominent Romanian payment gateway. It allows businesses to accept online payments via credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) for eCommerce orders and portal invoices, providing a secure and familiar payment experience for customers in Romania.
What you can do
- Accept Card Payments: Enable “Pay with card (EuPlatesc)” as a payment method during the Odoo eCommerce checkout.
- Portal Invoice Payments: Allow customers to pay their open invoices directly from the Odoo customer portal.
- Automated Payment Status: Automatically update the status of Sales Orders and Invoices in Odoo based on the real-time feedback from EuPlatesc.
- Secure Server-to-Server (S2S) Notifications: Use “silent” URLs for server-to-server callbacks to ensure that payment statuses are correctly updated even if the customer’s browser session is interrupted.
How it works
EuPlatesc uses a secure redirect flow:
- When a customer selects EuPlatesc at checkout, Odoo generates a secure request with a unique MAC signature.
- The customer is redirected to the secure EuPlatesc payment page to enter their card details.
- After the payment is processed, EuPlatesc redirects the customer back to Odoo (Success URL).
- Simultaneously, EuPlatesc sends an asynchronous callback (Silent URL) to Odoo to confirm the transaction status, ensuring reliability.

Typical workflow
- A customer chooses EuPlatesc on the checkout page of your Odoo website.

- Odoo automatically updates the Sales Order status to “Paid” (or “Authorized”) and creates the relevant payment entries.
- Your team is notified to proceed with order fulfillment.

Requirements
- EuPlatesc Merchant Account: You need an active agreement with EuPlatesc (EuroPayment Services s.r.l.).
- Merchant Credentials: You will need your Merchant ID and Secret Key provided by EuPlatesc.
Configuration
- Navigate to Accounting (or Invoicing) > Configuration > Payment Providers.
- Locate and open Eu Platesc.
- Set the State to Test Mode (for development) or Enabled (for production).
- Enter your credentials on the Credentials tab:
- Merchant ID
- Secret Key
- Configure the Payment Journal in the Configuration tab where payments will be recorded.
- The module automatically handles the Success URL and Silent URL (webhook) for you.
