Revolut Payment Provider

Integrating a Payment Provider can help reduce the number of abandoned baskets during the checkout process. The integration of Odoo with the Revolut Payment Provider offers customers a seamless and secure way to pay for goods or services using their Revolut account or credit/debit cards.

Installation

To install and configure the Revolut Payment Provider, navigate to the Apps module, search for Revolut, and click the Install button:

Usage

To configure the Payment Provider, navigate to the Accounting (or Invoicing) module:

Go to Configuration > Payment Providers:

Open the Revolut provider:

Click the Edit button and configure the Revolut Payment Provider with the following details:

Choose one of the State options:

  • Disabled
  • Enabled
  • Test Mode

Get API Key: To obtain the API Key, log in to your Revolut Business account and navigate to the Merchant API section. Refer to the official documentation: Revolut Merchant API - Get Started

Credentials:

  • Enter your Revolut API Key.
  • Enter your Revolut Public Key.

Configuration:

  • Payment Journal: Select the bank journal where payments will be recorded.
  • Capture Amount Manually: If enabled, you will need to manually capture the transaction from the Odoo backend.

Webhook Setup: To ensure automatic payment status updates, you should configure a webhook in your Revolut Business portal:

  1. In the Odoo Payment Provider form for Revolut, you can click the Create Webhook button (if available) or copy the Webhook Signing Secret provided by Revolut.
  2. The webhook URL should be: https://your-domain.com/payment/revolut/webhook.
  3. Subscribe to events like ORDER_COMPLETED and ORDER_AUTHORISED.

Manual Capture: In the Sales Order, the Capture Transaction button will be available for authorized transactions:

Messages: Configure custom messages for various payment states: Pending, Authorized, Done, or Canceled.

After completing the configuration, click the Save button.

Once configured, customers will be able to select Revolut as a payment method during checkout.

REVOLUT Payment Acquirer

Integrating a Payment Acquirer can help reduce the number of abandoned baskets or leave the checkout page. The integration of the Odoo system with the Revolut Payment Acquirer offers customers the opportunity to pay from their Revolut account for the goods or services they want to purchase.

To install and configure the Revolut Payment Acquirer go to Apps Module - All Categories –search Revolut Module - click the Install button:

To configure the Payment Acquirer, access the menu Accounting:

In Accounting – Configuration – click on Payment Acquirers:

The Payment Acquirers window will open and access Revolut:

Click the Edit button and configure the Revolut Payment Acquirer by filling in the following data:

You will choose one of the State options.

  • Disabled;
  • Active;
  • Test mode.

Credentials– fill with Revolut Api Key;

In the Configuration section:

  • Displayed as;
  • Submit text;
  • Capture Amount Manually –ticking the box allows you to capture the amount;
  • Payment Journal – here you must select a Journal Bank.

IMPORTANT!!!

In the Sales Order, the Capture Transaction button will look like this:

3) Messages– In this menu, you can set different messages, such as Help Message, Pending Message, Authorize Message, Done Message or Canceled Message.

After setting up the Revolut Payment Acquirer, press the Save button:

In this way, when ordering online, the customer can select the payment method through the Revolut Payment Acquirer.

Hi,

For security reasons, payment is processed only on payment aquirer website.

Does the payment stays in Odoo or the client is redirected to Revolut Payment Page?

Does the payment stays in Odoo or the client is redirected to Revolut Payment Page?
I need a solution for which customers pay inside odoo without being redirected to another page (like a Revolut Payment Page).
