Blanket Purchase Order
Blanket Purchase Order Odoo app streamlines procurement by allowing businesses to manage bulk
purchasing efficiently. With this app, you can create a single blanket purchase order for a
large quantity of products and then generate multiple smaller purchase orders or quotations from
it as needed.
For example, if you create a blanket purchase order for 100 units of a product (e.g., Graphics
Cards), you can subsequently create 10 individual purchase orders, each with 10 units, directly
from the blanket order. This approach simplifies bulk procurement while maintaining flexibility
for incremental purchasing.
Key features include a dedicated menu for creating blanket orders, the ability to generate
multiple purchase quotations from a single blanket order, and automatic expiry of blanket orders
upon reaching their set expiration date.
Features
- Separate menu provided for creating blanket order
- Once Blanket Purchase Order is created then you can create multiple purchase quotation from the blanket order
- Blanket Purchase order will be expire automatically on its expiry date
Create Blanket Purchase Order from here
Create Blanket order and click on Open
Create Purchase Quotation from it
Add vendor and required quantity, then create quotation
Access new Quotations from the Blanket Order
These Quotations are created from the Blanket Orders
Remaining Quantity will be updated each time when you create quotation from the blanket order
