Extended Approvals on Expense
Expense Approval Odoo app introduces a structured two-step approval process for managing
employee expenses, ensuring that all expenses are legally and appropriately authorized. This app
adds two levels of approvals: Manager Approval and HR Approval, streamlining the workflow and
maintaining accountability.
When an employee submits an expense, an email notification is sent to their manager. The manager
reviews the expense and, if approved, the expense request is forwarded to the Expense Manager
for the final review. Only users with the appropriate access rights, such as Allow Expense
Manager, can perform the second-level approval. Once the Expense Manager approves the request,
the expense proceeds to the approved, posted, and paid stages.
This app is ideal for organizations seeking to enforce proper expense validation workflows,
improve oversight, and ensure compliance with financial policies. It provides a transparent and
efficient way to manage expenses with accountability at every approval level.
