Insurance Management System for Odoo | Insurance Policy Management

Insurance Management Advance
Insurance Management Advance Odoo App runs an insurance agency end to end, from the enquiry that arrives on your website to the credit note that closes a refund. Each policy holds the holder, the product, the term and premium, the agent and commission, the required documents, the nominees and the installment schedule, all under one number.
Your team works the pipeline in Odoo: a website enquiry becomes a lead, a lead becomes a policy, the premium is split into dated installments, and each due line is invoiced on its own. Reminders go out before an installment falls due and before a policy expires, and policies close themselves once the date passes. Claims, refunds and renewals each follow their own approval path.
Customers and agents get their own pages. Policy holders view and print their policies, raise a claim, track it by reference, ask for a renewal and leave a rating. Agents see the policies they placed and the commission earned. Managers watch the whole book on a dashboard of counts, charts and due invoices.

The screens below follow the order the work actually happens in: the enquiry arrives, the policy is written and billed, the customer and agent get their own pages, and claims, renewals and refunds are worked through to the end.
Insurance Enquiry From Your Website
Every enquiry starts on your own site. A visitor picks the cover they want and leaves their details, and the request arrives in your pipeline with nothing re-typed.
- A public request page listing the policies you actually sell.
- The enquiry arrives as a lead, ready for your usual qualification.
- The chosen product, category and term stay attached to the lead.
- The visitor gets a confirmation page with their request number.
Insurance Request Page
The public site with Insurance Request open. The page invites the visitor to secure their future with a trusted plan and offers Request Insurance and Book Appointment, with Home, Insurance Request, Claim Request Tracking, Policy Renewal Request and Contact us across the top.
Enquiry Form
The request form itself, asking for the insurance policy wanted, the customer name, email and phone, and the message. Submitting it hands the enquiry straight to your sales team.
Enquiry Arrives As A Lead
The Leads list inside Odoo, showing the request that has just come in from the website alongside the other opportunities, with its customer, product and expected date.
Lead Detail
The lead opened in full, with the customer, contact details and salesperson on the left, and the Insurance Details tab holding the policy, category and term the visitor asked for.
Book An Appointment Online
When a customer would rather talk first, they can book a slot with your team from the same site. Days and times come from the working hours you set.
- A booking page listing the services you offer, with fee and location.
- Only the days and times you have opened are offered.
- The visitor leaves their name, email and phone with the booking.
- Every booking becomes a record you can confirm or cancel.
Book Appointment Entry
The same public landing page with Book Appointment highlighted, the second option open to a visitor who wants to speak to an adviser before choosing a policy.
Choose A Service
The service picker, showing each appointment type you offer as a card with its image, name, description and fee, so the visitor knows what they are booking and what it costs.
Pick A Date And Time
The calendar step. The visitor moves through the months, picks an open day and then chooses from the time slots generated for that weekday, with the timezone shown.
Enter Your Details
The final step, collecting the visitor's name, email address and mobile number against the slot they picked before the booking is submitted.
Booking Confirmed
The confirmation page thanking the visitor and showing the reference number their appointment was given, so they can quote it when they call.

- Counts for leads, customers, agents, claims and policies by state.
- Charts for top selling policies, agent performance and claim states.
- Expiring policies and revenue plotted month by month.
- Lists of open policies, due invoices and invoices coming up.

Policy And Revenue Charts
The chart band, showing which policies sell the most, which agents earn the most commission, and how the premium collected moves across the months of the year.
Claim And Expiry Charts
Claims broken down by their state alongside the policies falling due for expiry in each month, so renewals and outstanding claims can be planned together.
Open Policy List
The dashboard list of policies currently open, with the customer, policy, amount and dates, so the manager can jump straight into any one of them.
Expiring Policy List
The companion list of policies about to expire, giving the renewal team a working queue rather than a chart to interpret.
Due Invoice List
Invoices raised against policies that are posted but not yet paid, next to the invoices coming up, so collection can be worked from the same screen.
The Whole Dashboard
The dashboard scrolled out in full, showing how the counts, the charts and the working lists sit together on a single page.
Lead And Pipeline
The enquiry runs through your normal pipeline until it is won, and then becomes a policy without anyone copying details across.
- Enquiries sit in the pipeline as ordinary leads and opportunities.
- The policy, category and term asked for stay on the record.
- A button on the opportunity creates the insurance policy.
- The new policy is linked back, so the pipeline keeps its history.
Qualify The Lead
A lead opened at the qualification stage, with the customer, contact details, salesperson and sales team, and the insurance product the enquiry was about held on its own tab.
Create The Policy
The same record once it has become an opportunity. A Create Insurance Policy button is now available, and the Insurance Details tab holds everything the new policy needs.
Policy And Its Process
The policy is the heart of the app. It gathers the holder, the cover, the agent, the documents, the nominees and the money, and walks from draft through to open.
- Holder details, cover figures and agent commission on one record.
- Document checklist, nominees, insured members and survey questions.
- Confirming the policy notifies the manager and opens portal access.
- Approve and open the policy once the paperwork is in order.

Policy Document Printed
The printed policy document on company letterhead, setting out the holder details, the insurance policy, the dates and the amounts in one sheet the customer can keep.
Installments And Invoicing
Rather than one large invoice, the premium can be split across the months of the term, with each due line invoiced on its own when the time comes.
- One button builds a dated line for every month of the term.
- Each line is numbered in its own series and starts unpaid.
- Create the invoice for a single line without touching the others.

Installment Due Reminders
Customers are reminded before a payment is due rather than chased after it, using the number of days you decide per product.

- A daily check finds installments falling due after those days.
- Only unpaid lines on open policies are chased.
- The reminder names the policy, the amount and the due date.

Version 3.0 | Current Release
The questions agencies ask us most often before an install, answered against what the app actually does.
-
Where do enquiries from my website end up?
- As leads in your normal pipeline, carrying the policy, category and term the visitor asked about. Once the opportunity is won, one button turns it into the insurance policy.
-
Can a customer pay the premium in installments?
- Yes. One button splits the premium into a dated line for every month of the term, and each line can be invoiced on its own when it falls due. Mark a term as a single payment and it is billed once instead.
-
How are customers reminded about payments and expiry?
- Two daily checks. One mails customers whose installment falls due after the reminder days set on the product, and the other mails holders whose policy expires after the days set in Settings.
-
How is the refund amount decided?
- From the refund rule for the policy category. The days between the issue date and today are matched against the rule's bands, and the percentage in the matching band is applied to the premium.
-
Can agents see their own commission?
- Yes. An agent signs in to their own pages and sees every policy they placed, whether the commission is fixed or a percentage, the amount on each, and can download the detail sheet.
-
Does a customer need an account to check a claim?
- Not to check its status. The claim reference typed on the tracking page returns the policy number, claim date, amount and status. Viewing the full claim and its history does need a portal login.
