Inventory ABC Analysis Report
The Inventory ABC Analysis Report in Odoo is a strategic inventory management tool
designed to
help businesses optimize their stock levels based on the Pareto Principle (80/20 Rule).
It segments inventory into Class A (High Value), Class B (Medium Value), and
Class C (Low Value) items.
By focusing resources on high-value items, you can Reduce Carrying Costs and Improve
Cash Flow. This tool allows you to configure custom classification thresholds, choose
between Value-based or Quantity-based analysis, view on-screen analysis like
List View and Pivot View, and generate comprehensive reports
in PDF and Excel formats.

Menu Location
Easily find the ABC Analysis Report in Odoo under the Inventory > Reporting menu.
Report Configuration
Set up the report: Select Date Range, Company, Warehouse, Locations, and filter by Products or Categories. Set detailed ABC Classification settings like Analysis Basis (by Consumption Value or Quantity) and custom Thresholds for Class A and B.
Report Options
Generate reports instantly with dedicated buttons: View Report on Screen, Print PDF Report, or Generate Excel Report.
On-Screen List Analysis
Analyze item-level details in a list view, clearly showing the calculated ABC Class, Consumption Value, and Cumulative Percentages.
