Shipment-Based Landed Cost Dashboard

Shipment-Based Landed Cost Dashboard Odoo App brings every freight bill, customs charge, insurance fee, duty and handling cost together in one place, alongside the goods they belong to. The team sees, for each incoming shipment, what the goods originally cost, what extra costs were added on top, what the new unit price is, and how it affects the margin on those products.
The Overview screen opens with KPI cards (total landed cost, shipment count, freight, customs, insurance, handling, average cost per shipment, landed-cost percentage, inventory value increase, margin impact, delayed shipments) and charts (monthly trend, cost components, vendor and product impact, warehouse split, PO vs final cost, delay trend). Filters at the top narrow the view by date, vendor, warehouse, shipment, product, purchase order, company, currency, or landed-cost type, and every KPI and chart clicks through to the underlying records.
Beyond the dashboard, five reports (Shipment, Vendor, Product Cost, Delay, Financial Impact) offer list, pivot and graph views, and the data can be exported to PDF or Excel. Built for inventory, finance and purchasing teams in any business that imports goods or works with multiple carriers and wants honest visibility on the real cost of stock.

Purchase Orders
This module helps users manage and distribute additional expenses
such as shipping, insurance, customs duty, and handling charges into
product costs. By linking Purchase Order receipts with landed costs,
Odoo automatically allocates extra expenses across products based on
the selected split method, improving accurate inventory valuation
and cost tracking.
Main Features:
- Manage additional costs like shipping, insurance, and customs charges.
- Automatically distribute landed costs across products using split methods.
- Improve accurate inventory valuation and product cost tracking.
- Link Purchase Order receipts directly with landed cost records.
As you can see, a Purchase Order has been created with two products, Pen and Book, and the related receipt has also been generated successfully.
As you can see in the screen, the Receipt Number has been highlighted in the receipt form for reference.
You can navigate to Inventory → Operations → Landed Costs to view the list of all landed cost records from here.
In the Transfers section, users can select the previously created Purchase Order receipt and add extra charges in Additional Costs, which Odoo distributes to products based on the selected Split Method.
You can see that the extra cost has been equally distributed, so both products received an additional cost of $100 each.
