Odoo MCP Server connects AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT directly to your Odoo database, so your team can work with business data by simply asking in plain language. Built on the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), this app turns Odoo into a secure AI-ready backend — the assistant finds your customers, sales orders, invoices, products and projects on its own, then searches, creates and updates records for you. No coding, no technical setup, and nothing to install outside Odoo.
Getting started takes about two minutes: install the app, paste one link into Claude or ChatGPT, and sign in with your normal Odoo username and password. You choose exactly what the AI is allowed to do — read only, create, update or delete — and the AI can never see more than your own Odoo account can. Every request is recorded in a clear log, and you can disconnect any AI app with a single click at any time.

Q Which AI assistants can connect?
Claude.ai (web), Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT (developer-mode connectors), Cursor, Windsurf and any MCP-compatible client. OAuth clients log in directly; the others use a secure API key.
Q Is my data safe? Can the AI see everything?
The AI acts as the connected Odoo user — it can only see and change what that user can. On top of that: permission scopes at login, optional model allow-lists, record caps, sensitive-field blocking and a full request log.
Q Do I need an external server or middleware?
No. The MCP server runs natively inside Odoo. Your Odoo just needs to be reachable over https for cloud AI clients.
Q Is this app compatible with Odoo Enterprise?
Yes, it works with Odoo Community, Enterprise and Odoo.sh.
