Assign Employee Access Rights

Under Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings, enable Log in with Employees. You can then specify which employees should be granted Basic rights or Advanced rights for streamlined POS access.

Configure Secure PIN Codes

Navigate to the Settings tab on the employee form to set a unique PIN Code. This ensures secure cashier authentication and accountability for all Point of Sale transactions.

Enable Cashier Features in Settings

Navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings. In the Cashier Management section, enable Cashier Activity Log and Cashier Permissions to start tracking and controlling staff actions.

Configure Permissions on Employee Records

Open an employee form and navigate to the POS Permissions tab. Here you can define granular rights such as Can Give Refund, Can Change Price, and set a Maximum Discount % cap.

Restricted Actions in POS Frontend

When a cashier attempts an unauthorized action—such as entering a discount above their permitted limit—the POS interface displays an immediate alert and blocks the transaction.

Monitor the Cashier Activity Log

Access a full audit trail via Point of Sale > Reporting > Cashier Activity Log. This logs every login, payment, refund, and cash movement with details on the employee and timestamp.

Analyze Detailed Performance Reports

Use the Cashier Performance report under the Reporting menu to visualize sales data. The report includes Pivot and Graph views for analyzing revenue, margins, and productivity per cashier.

Generate Professional Summary Reports

Use the Cashier Summary Report pop up to generate and export PDF or Excel documents for management review, filterable by date range, POS configuration, and employee.
