The POS Customer Screen - Ads, Feedback & Self-Registration module for Odoo transforms your standard customer-facing display into a powerful engagement platform. It enables you to showcase vibrant advertisement slideshows, allow customers to register themselves to your loyalty program, and collect valuable feedback immediately after purchase. This module is designed to improve customer experience, streamline data collection, and drive sales through internal promotions.

- Advertisement Slideshow: Cycle through multiple promotional images with custom rotation intervals.
- Customer Self-Registration: Reduce checkout friction by letting customers enter their details on the display.
- Post-Payment Feedback: Get real-time satisfaction ratings and comments from customers after every sale.
- Promotional Message Banner: Scroll important announcements or daily deals at the top of the screen.
- Enhanced Order Transparency: Display tax breakdowns and total savings clearly to your customers.
- Customizable Branding: Personalize the display with colors and unique welcome/thank you messages.
Enable Customer Display Enhancement
Navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings and scroll to the Customer Screen Enhancement section. Here you can globally enable the advertisement, registration, and feedback options.
Branding and Global Styling
Set a custom Accent Color to match your brand identity. You can also customize the Welcome Message and Thank You Message that appear on the screen.
Configure Advertisement Slideshow
Upload multiple Advertisement Images and set the Rotation Interval in seconds. These ads will automatically cycle on the secondary display when the POS is idle or the cart is empty.
Add Promotional Message Banner
Write a Promotional Message to be displayed. This is perfect for highlighting daily specials, upcoming events, or internal loyalty program benefits.
Customer Self-Registration
Enable the Self-Registration form so customers can enter their Name, Email, and Phone directly on the screen. The new customer record is automatically linked to the current transaction.
Post-Payment Feedback Collection
After the cashier validates the payment, the customer screen shows a Feedback Form. Customers can provide a star rating and text comments, which are saved on the POS order record.
Enhanced Cart & Savings View
Customize the order display settings to show Tax and Discount. This provides a clear and transparent checkout experience for your customers.
