POS Happy Hours in Odoo
The POS Happy Hours module empowers you to boost your sales and attract more customers by offering automatic, time-based discounts and promotions directly in your Point of Sale. Easily configure multiple "Happy Hour" rules with specific discount percentages, day-of-week scheduling, and precise time windows. Whether you want to run early bird specials or late-night deals, this module automates the entire process, applying discounts to selected products or categories instantly when they are added to an order during the active promotion period.
Features
- Flexible Promotion Rules – Create multiple happy hour rules with custom names and discount percentages.
- Precise Time Scheduling – Set specific start and end times for each discount rule.
- Weekday Selection – Configure promotions to run only on selected days of the week.

Enable Happy Hours Feature
Navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Point of Sales. Select the shop, locate the "Happy Hours" section, and enable the feature to start configuring promotions.
Create Promotion Rules
Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Happy Hours and click "New". Set a name and the Discount Percentage for your promotion.
Configure Schedule & Days
Define the Start Time, End Time, and select the specific Days of the Week when this rule should trigger automatically.
Target Specific POS Shops
Under the "Point of Sale Shops" field, select which POS configurations should participate in this happy hour campaign.
Automated Discounts in POS
Launch your POS session. The system will automatically apply the configured discounts whenever a product is added during the active happy hour period.
Real-time Price Update
Watch as the prices update instantly on the screen, providing clear feedback to the cashier and the customer.
Discount Details in POS Orders
Easily view the applied discount percentage and the final discounted price directly in the backend POS order details.
