POS Hide/Show Numpad in Odoo
The POS Hide/Show Numpad module for Odoo provides a streamlined and flexible way to manage the numpad area in your Point of Sale interface. It allows users to toggle the visibility of the entire numpad, auto-hide it after inactivity, or restrict specific buttons like Price, Discount, and Plus/Minus. This reclaimable screen space is perfect for smaller displays or barcode-centric workflows, ensuring a more focused and efficient checkout process.

Activate Numpad Visibility Settings
Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings. Locate the Numpad Settings section and check Allow Hide/Show Numpad.
Configure Auto-hide and Hidden Buttons
Set the Auto-Hide Timeout in seconds to hide the numpad after inactivity. You can also individually hide the Discount (%), Price, or +/- buttons to restrict access.
Toggle Numpad in POS Session
Once in the POS, use the eye icon button at the bottom of the screen or press F2 on your keyboard to instantly hide or show the numpad.
Hidden Buttons and Compact View
Customize your numpad by hiding specific buttons like Discount (%), Price, and +/- to restrict cashier actions. Additionally, the Compact Layout helps save valuable screen space, making it perfect for smaller devices.
