Enable Customer Signature in POS Settings

Go to Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings. Scroll down to find the "Customer Signature" option and enable it. This activates the signature capture feature for your POS sessions.

Choose the Signature Mode

Once enabled, select your preferred Signature Mode from the dropdown:

• Always Required — A signature popup will appear on every order before validation. The cashier cannot proceed without the customer's signature.
• Optional — A "Capture Signature" button appears on the payment screen. The cashier can tap it to collect a signature, but it is not mandatory.
• Based on Payment Method — The signature popup is triggered only when a payment method that requires a signature is used (configured in the next step).

Set Signature Requirement on Payment Methods

If you chose the "Based on Payment Method" mode, navigate to Point of Sale > Configuration > Payment Methods. Open any payment method (e.g., Credit Card) and enable the "Require Signature" checkbox. When a customer pays using this method, the signature popup will appear automatically. Payment methods without this checkbox enabled will skip the signature step.

Capture Signature During Checkout

Open your POS session and process an order as usual. When the customer is ready to pay, a signature popup will appear (based on your configured mode). The customer draws their signature on the touch-friendly canvas. They can tap "Clear" to redo or "Confirm" to save the signature. The signature is then attached to the order and printed on the receipt.

Signature on POS Receipt

Once confirmed, the customer's signature is automatically displayed at the bottom of the POS receipt. This provides an immediate proof of acknowledgement that the customer can take with them.

View Signature in Backend & Invoices

Navigate to Point of Sale > Orders and open any order. The captured signature is visible on the order form in the backend. If an invoice is created from the POS order, the signature will also appear on the printed customer invoice, providing a complete audit trail.
