Price Checker Kiosks Odoo App
Price Checker Kiosks Odoo App puts a self-service price checker on your website,
so a shopper or a staff member can look up any product without finding someone to ask. They open
the Price Kiosks page, type a product name, barcode, or internal code on the on-screen keypad,
tap Check Price, and the product details appear at once.
The result shows the product image, price, barcode, code, weight, and category, along with
live on-hand and forecast quantities and the stock location. When nothing matches the search, a
clear Product Not Found message is shown instead, so no one is left guessing.
You decide exactly which details appear, set your own welcome message and panel title, and keep
the configuration behind a dedicated access right. It suits retail shops, warehouses, and
showrooms that want a quick, touch-friendly price and stock lookup for customers and floor staff.
Features
Self-Service Price Checker
A dedicated price checker page on your website lets anyone look up a product on their own, with no login or staff help needed.
Search by Name, Barcode, or Code
Find a product by its name, barcode, or internal reference. The kiosk returns the matching item right away, or a clear not-found message.
On-Screen Touch Keypad
An on-screen keyboard with delete and clear keys makes the kiosk easy to use on a touchscreen, with no physical keyboard required.
Price from the Right Pricelist
The price shown follows the pricelist tied to the logged-in customer, so shoppers see the price that actually applies to them.
Live Stock and Location
Alongside price, the kiosk shows on-hand and forecast quantities and the stock location, so people know if an item is available now.
Choose What Shows
Turn each detail on or off from settings: image, code, barcode, weight, category, sales price, on-hand stock, forecast stock, and location.
Custom Welcome and Title Text
Set your own welcome message on the kiosk and your own heading on the product panel, so the page matches your store's wording.
Access-Controlled Setup
The kiosk configuration sits behind a dedicated access right, so only the people you choose can change what the kiosk displays.
User Access Rights
Grant the Price Kiosks access right on a user to let them open and change the kiosk configuration. Users without it cannot reach the settings.
Price Kiosks Configuration
In Settings, the Price Kiosks section lets you toggle each detail the kiosk shows: barcode, code, category, weight, sales price, on-hand and forecast stock, location, plus your own welcome message and product panel title.
Price Kiosks Menu
A Price Kiosks menu is added to your website navigation, giving customers and staff a direct link to the price checker page.
Price Checker Page
The kiosk page shows your welcome message, a search box, and an on-screen keypad. Type a product name, barcode, or code, then tap Check Price to see the details.
View Product Information
The result panel shows the product image, name, code, barcode, category, price, weight, and the on-hand and forecast stock, all on one screen.
Product Not Found Message
When the search does not match any product, the kiosk shows a clear Product Not Found message instead of an empty screen, so the user knows to try again.
