POS Waiter / Captain Ordering App Odoo App lets your floor staff
take orders right at the table on any phone or tablet, then send
them to the kitchen and call for the bill without walking to the
counter. It runs in the browser on top of your Odoo POS, so there
is no separate app to install.
A waiter opens a table, records the number of guests, and adds
items with their course and any special notes. Each round fires a
Kitchen Order Ticket that sends only the new items, so the kitchen
gets them in the right order, while a live floor grid shows which
tables are free, seated, or waiting to be billed.
When guests are ready, the waiter requests the bill with one tap
and the order flows into the cashier's open POS session for
payment. Waiters can move an order to another table, switch
accounts with a quick PIN on a shared tablet, and see only the
tables assigned to them. It suits restaurants, cafes, and bars that
want faster tableside service.

Course Management
Tag each item with its course, starter, main, dessert, or drinks, so the kitchen ticket and the floor group the order the right way.
Order Notes & Instructions
Add a note to a single item so allergies and special requests reach the kitchen clearly on the ticket.
Chef Specials & Food Tags
Mark dishes as chef specials and tag them as veg, non-veg, or egg, so waiters spot and suggest them while taking the order.
One-Tap Bill Request
Waiters send a bill request from the table with one tap, and a sound alerts the cashier at the counter to prepare the check.
Sends Orders to the Cashier
Every tableside order flows into the open POS session, where the cashier loads it, takes payment, and closes the table.
Transfer Between Tables
Move an active order from one table to another in a tap when guests change seats, keeping every item and round with them.
Assigned Tables per Waiter
Assign tables to each waiter so they see and serve only their own section, keeping service on a busy floor organized.
Quick PIN Switch
On a shared tablet, waiters switch to their own account with a short PIN, so each order is logged under the right person.
Guest Count & Customer
Record the number of covers and link a customer to the table, giving the kitchen and the bill the context they need.
Kitchen Order Tickets
Print a Kitchen Order Ticket for a table that lists its items, their course, and any notes, for kitchens that still work from paper.
Waiter Tableside Ordering Flow
Waiters can open tables directly, capture guest details, assign courses (Starter, Main, Dessert, etc.) to items, and manage orders tableside.
Tableside Management & History
Waiters can transfer active orders between tables, browse complete order history logs, and release tables once dining is finished.
Counter Order Processing
Cashiers can view incoming tableside orders under the Orders -> Waiter Orders menu, load them in the active POS session, and process payments.
Backend Configuration
Go to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Users. Enable the Is a Waiter setting for the user and set their Waiter App PIN. In POS -> Orders -> Waiter Orders, you can view all their synced tableside orders.

Is this app compatible with Odoo Enterprise?
Yes. This module works with Odoo Community, Enterprise, and Odoo.sh. No additional configuration is needed for any edition.
Do waiters need to install an app?
No. The waiter app opens in any phone or tablet browser, so your floor staff simply log in and start taking orders. There is nothing to download from an app store.
Can waiters send orders to the kitchen in rounds?
Yes. Waiters can fire a Kitchen Order Ticket for each round at a table, so starters, mains, and later additions reach the kitchen at the right time.
Can I limit which tables each waiter sees?
Yes. You can assign tables to specific waiters, so each person only sees and serves the tables that belong to them on the floor screen.
