Send WhatsApp messages to your customers directly from Odoo — no API key required.

Overview

WhatsApp Direct Link adds a green WhatsApp button across your most-used Odoo records. Your team can contact customers instantly from Contacts, Sales Quotations, and Customer Invoices — without leaving Odoo and without copy-pasting phone numbers. A smart wizard pre-fills the message with the relevant document details, ready to send in seconds.

One-click WhatsApp button next to the Mobile field on every contact record. Hidden automatically when no phone number exists.

WhatsApp button on every quotation. Opens a wizard with a pre-filled message including quotation number, date, and total amount.

How It Works

  1. Open a Contact, Quotation, or Invoice in Odoo.
  2. Click the green WhatsApp button next to the customer's name or mobile field.
  3. A wizard opens with a pre-filled message containing all relevant document details.
  4. Edit the message if needed, then click Send via WhatsApp.
  5. WhatsApp opens in a new tab with the message ready — just hit Send.

Installation

  1. Copy the direct-whatsapp folder to your Odoo addons directory.
  2. Restart the Odoo service.
  3. Go to Apps, click Update Apps List.
  4. Search for WhatsApp Direct Link and click Install.
