How It Works
1. Access Canvas Overview
Open the Draw Shape app to access the overview interface mode view/
2. Access Drawing Canvas
Open the Draw Shape application to access the interactive drawing canvas with grid system.
3. Select Drawing Tools
Choose from various tools: Hand tool for navigation, Polygon tool for drawing shapes.
4. Create Regions
Draw polygons by clicking on points on the canvas to define the boundaries of the area. After drawing the desired shape, click enter to display the record creation popup.
5. Customize Appearance
Customize shape colors, border styles, and other visual attributes. Switch to the hand tool and select the shape you want to adjust. Once you adjust the shape's attributes, the data is automatically updated in the shape's database.
6. Manage Region Hierarchy
Create parent-child relationships between regions to manage areas in an organized manner. In "view mode" click on any shape to draw a child shape for the selected shape.
7. Navigation & Zoom
Use the zoom controls and hand tools to navigate large drawings efficiently. Additionally, inserting shapes between two shapes can be handled with the layer row.
8. Write & Delete Regions
Double click on a shape to display a popup to edit the shape's information. To delete a shape, in "hand" mode, select a shape and use the delete button to delete the shape.
9. Export PDF & Print Map
Use 2 buttons Export PDF and Print to print map directly

Usage Instructions
To access the Draw Shape application:
- Navigate to the Draw Shape menu in your Odoo application
- Click on "Draw Shape" to open the interactive drawing canvas
- Use the toolbar to select drawing tools and customize properties
- Click on the canvas to create polygon points and define regions
- Save your regions to the database for future reference
The application provides:
