Duplicate Check Rules
Prevent duplicate records creation with customizable rules
Key Features
- Create rules to check for duplicate records
- Select specific fields to check for duplicates
- Configure custom alert messages
- Prompt users with confirmation dialog
- Multi-company support
- Full multilingual support
How It Works
Step 1: Create duplicate check rules
Navigate to Settings > Duplicate Check Rules and create a new rule.
Select the model and fields you want to check for duplicates.
Step 2: Configure alert message
Customize the message that will be shown to users when a duplicate is detected.
Step 3: Create records
When users create new records, the system automatically checks for duplicates
based on your rules and displays a confirmation dialog if duplicates are found.

Configuration

Configure rules by specifying:
- Rule name - a descriptive name for the rule
- Model - which model to check for duplicates
- Fields - which fields to check for duplicate values
- Alert message - custom message to display to users
- Sequence - order of rule execution
User Experience

When duplicates are detected, users see a confirmation dialog with options to continue or cancel. This helps prevent accidental duplicate record creation while giving users the flexibility to create duplicates when necessary.
