Does this work on Odoo Community?
Yes, the module works perfectly with both Odoo 18 Community and Enterprise editions.
What messages are displayed in the Chat Center?
The Chat Center displays all mail.message records that are associated with contacts (res.partner). It shows messages from models that have a partner_id field, such as Sale Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices, and more. Notification-type messages are excluded by default.
Can I exclude certain partners or models from appearing?
Yes! The module includes a Configuration menu where you can exclude specific partners, models, and message types from appearing in the Chat Center. This is configured per company.
How does the contact-based view work?
The Chat Center groups all messages by contact (res.partner). When you select a contact from the sidebar, it shows all messages from all records (like orders, invoices, etc.) where that contact is linked via the partner_id field.
