Telegram Notifications
Send notifications directly to Telegram
This module seamlessly integrates Odoo with Telegram Messenger, enabling you to:
- Send instant notifications to employees via Telegram
- Receive real-time updates
Setup Guide
Configure your Telegram Bot
- Create a new Telegram bot using BotFather in the Telegram app.
- Copy the bot token provided by BotFather.
- Go to Odoo module settings and enter the bot token and bot link.

Usage Instructions
Send notifications to employees via Telegram
- Install the module.
- Inherit from the
telegram.notification
model in your custom model. -
If your model inherits from
res.users
,res.partner
, orhr.employee
, you can use the Telegram User Name field to specify the recipient's Telegram username. - Make sure the Telegram User Name field is filled for each user, partner, or employee you want to notify. By Inherit the XML file of the model you want to notify.

Use the
telegram_send_message(message, user_id)
method to send a message.
message
: The text you want to send (string).user_id
: The record of the user, partner, or employee (not just the ID).

Example:
self.telegram_send_message("Hello, this is a test!", self)
