Import Sale Order and Purchase Order lines from Excel files

Fast order line entry without repetitive typing

This module helps sales and purchasing teams add many order lines at once from a simple Excel file. Upload the file from a Sale Order or Purchase Order, click Import, and Odoo creates the order lines using the products, quantities, and prices from the spreadsheet.

How it works

Step 1: Import lines on a Sale/Purchase Order

Click Import to upload your file. To use the template, download the sample Excel file from the here button.

Step 2: Upload and import the file

Upload the Excel file, click Import, and the order lines are added successfully.

Important notes before importing

Duplicate internal references: import fails when Odoo already has multiple products with the same internal reference. Check the Excel file first and handle duplicate lines before they create duplicate products.

Undefined products: these are products in the Excel file that do not exist in Odoo yet. To create them during import, enable Create Undefined Products and set a default product import category in settings.
