Whether you're working in LibreOffice Calc, this connector lets you pull real-time Odoo records directly into your spreadsheets-no need for manual exports. With a few clicks, users can choose the model, select fields, apply custom filters, and instantly create an external data link. The solution supports multiple models like Sales Orders, Contacts, Projects, and more, making it ideal for reporting, analysis, or collaborative planning. Purpose of the "Data Connection From Odoo to Excel" Module

Create Odoo Excel Connector Template from Contact
From the Contact's Action menu, click "Create Odoo Excel Connector Template" to generate a web-connected data export.
Customize Fields, Filters, and Model
A popup wizard lets you configure the target model, select fields, and apply domain filters for dynamic CSV export.
Access External Data in LibreOffice
In LibreOffice, go to Sheet -> External Links to start connecting your spreadsheet to live data from Odoo.
Paste URL and Import Live Data
Paste the generated web URL, press Enter, and click OK to import data directly into your spreadsheet.
View Live Data with Auto-Refresh
Your spreadsheet now displays live Odoo data and can auto-refresh every few seconds for real-time updates.
