This Odoo extension transforms your online store into a professional quotation-based system, ideal for B2B businesses, custom pricing models, or negotiated sales. Instead of buying directly, customers can now request quotes for selected products, helping businesses manage complex pricing, bulk orders, or special requests more effectively.With this module, you can mark specific products as "Quote Only," hiding prices and disabling checkout for those items. Customers see a clean, user-friendly "Ask for Quote" button, encouraging them to build a quotation cart.Portal users can adjust their quotation-change quantities, remove products, or edit shipping details-and then confirm the quote, which automatically creates a formal sales quotation (SO) in the backend and allows them to download it instantly.If a guest user tries to submit a quote, they'll be prompted to sign in or create an account, ensuring only verified leads are converted into quotations.
Purpose of the "Request a Quote for Products" Module
- Ideal for B2B & Bulk Orders: Suited for businesses offering custom pricing, wholesale, or made-to-order products.
- Quote-Only Products: Hide prices and disable cart for selected products to allow quote-based selling.
- Guest to Portal Flow: Anonymous users are prompted to log in before confirming a quote, ensuring lead tracking.
- Streamlined B2B Quotation Workflow: Allow customers to request quotes for selected products through a dedicated quotation cart-enabling them to add or remove products, adjust quantities, edit their address, and instantly generate a downloadable sale quotation, all without using standard eCommerce pricing or cart flows.
Mark Products as Quoted Items
Admins can mark specific products as quote-only, It removing price and cart options for those items.
Ask for Quote on Product Page
Instead of seeing prices or adding to cart, users see an "Ask Quote" option.
Ask for Quote on Product Detail Page
Add Quoted Products to Quotation Cart
From the product detail page, users can select quantity and add quoted items directly to the quotation cart.
Proceed to Confirm Quotation
Click "Next" to review your shipping details and quote items before submitting a final quotation request.
Edit Shipping Address Before Submission
Make changes to your delivery address by clicking "Edit" before finalizing the quotation request.
Download Your Sale Quotation Instantly
Once confirmed, a downloadable sale quotation PDF is generated from the backend system.
Detailed Quotation PDF with Pricing
The generated PDF includes product names, quantities, and final pricing for internal sales review.
