STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
Odoo provides basic financial management tools but lacks a dedicated system for structured loan management and provision tracking. Users must manually handle loan computations, provision postings, and liability classifications, leading to inefficiencies.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS
Cluedoo enhances Odoo's accounting capabilities by introducing structured loan and provision management. The module automates loan calculations, generates loan schedules, and simplifies provision postings. It also introduces a liability domain to improve financial reporting and categorization.
MODULE+
The Loan and Provision Management module enhances financial operations by automating loan tracking, provision handling, and liability management within OdoOdoo.
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
Install on databases requiring structured loan and provision management for improved financial efficiency and accuracy.
HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
LOAN MANAGEMENT
1.
Go to Accounting → Loan Management. Here we can create a loan and set the Original Value, Annual Interest Rate, Duration, and other information. When you are finished, click on Compute Loan.
2.
After computing the loan, it will then show the computation on the Loan Board.
Note: Since v18 , this function has been separated and put in fal_loan_management
PROVISION MANAGEMENT
1
Create a Provision Model.
2
Go to Accounting → Management → Provision. Here you will create a new provision.
3
Open the Depreciation Lines and click Post . Repeat this step until you need to close the provision.
4
We can also close or modify the provision, and save the model as well.
Liability domain
1. We have Liability domain for Account Payable and Loan account
2.
We can set account for type liability.
