STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
Odoo allows you to create Bills of Materials (BOM) but does not provide fields for adding descriptions or notes at the BOM line level, limiting detailed documentation.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS
Cluedoo enhances BOM management by adding Description and Note fields to each BOM line. This allows users to:
- Provide additional details for each component.
- Improve clarity for manufacturing and procurement teams.
With this feature, BOMs become more informative and easier to manage.

We have additional columns on BoM > Components: Description and Notes.

Under Display menu in BoM overview, 'Description' and 'Notes' are separate options
