STORY BEHIND THE FEATURE
ODOO BEHAVIOR
In Odoo, certain advanced functionalities, particularly in Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), are not natively available in Odoo’s standard, which means users cannot set advanced product parameter management, BoM status tracking, flexible version labeling, batched ECO handling, serial number management, automated quality checks, and document synchronization.

Cluedoo introduces modules fal_mrp_plm_serial_number designed to streamline user management and enhance efficiency by seamlessly controlling serial number parameter modifications.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

On Inventory → Configuration , we can set the Product Target Parameter Type . Set the code and select the value type (Text, Number, Boolean, Selection, Required Field Check, Matching Field Value). |

fal_mrp_plm_serial_number Add lots/serial numbers for a product with parameter values. The version of product and the version of serial number will be available in the Lot/Serial Number view.

You can also add and manage changes in parameter values of the L/SN under the Technical Properties tab |
