ODOO'S FUNCTION
- Odoo does not create Timesheet entries from Planning by default.
- Employees or managers must manually enter their timesheet hours.
- No linkage between Planning and Timesheet unless done manually.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
CLuedoo enhances the standard reconciliation process by introducing:
1️⃣ An Analytic Distribution field in the write-off entry pop-up during reconciliation
2️⃣ Automatic inheritance of the analytic distribution in the resulting journal entry
This allows users to assign analytic values at the time of adjustment, ensuring accurate and consistent analytic tracking without the need for manual corrections.

1. Go to Employee > choose random Employee > Go to Settings tab> Checked box: Create Planning Timesheet
Note : Don't forget to set the employee contract on payroll tab |

Go to Planning > Create new Planning for employee > Fill in Project and Task > Publish & Send > It will marked as Publish > Then click Post

Go to timesheet > Check that new timesheet added for Abigail Peterson

Note:
This module only creates
one
timesheet entry if you haven't split the planning. You need to split the planning first, then post it if you want the allocated time to be divided across multiple days

STORY BEHIND THE FEATURE
ODOO BEHAVIOR
Odoo does not create Timesheet entries from Planning by default.
Employees or managers must manually enter their timesheet hours.
No linkage between Planning and Timesheet unless done manually.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
Automatically creates Timesheet entries from Planning.
Users can choose to split planning time by day — each day will generate a separate timesheet line.
If the planning is not split, only one single Timesheet entry will be created for the full duration.
COMPARISON: ODOO (ODS) AND CLUEDOO (CLS)
In Standard Odoo:
- ❌ No automatic Timesheet creation from Planning.
- ❌ Users must manually log working hours in Timesheet, even when Planning is available.
- ❌ Cannot split a planned schedule into separate Timesheet entries per day.
- ❌ No default linkage between Planning entries and Timesheet lines.
