STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO'S BEHAVIOR

Odoo includes Control Points to define quality inspection rules and Quality Checks to record the results of those inspections at key steps in production, delivery, or receipt.

CLUEDOO'S BEHAVIOR

CLuedoo introduces Quality Point Groups/Quality Control Groups and Quality Check Groups to manage inspections in batches for greater efficiency:

1️⃣ Control Points can be grouped into a Quality Point Group, letting you handle multiple related points as a single set

2️⃣ Quality Checks can be grouped into a Quality Check Group, enabling batch management and tracking

3️⃣ Option to include or exclude an entire Quality Check Group when running inspections

4️⃣ Ability to archive or restore quality check groups, individual checks, or linked quality alerts


HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

QUALITY POINT GROUPS


1. Go to Quality → Quality Control → Quality Control Groups/Quality Point Groups . Create a Quality Control Group.

We can also create Quality Control Points from here, under the Quality Point tab

2. From v17 , we have a checkbox Generate Check Group to decide whether to include/exclude the Quality Check Group when using Quality Check

QUALITY CONTROL POINTS (ODS)

Go to Quality → Quality Control → Quality Control Points . Create Quality Control Point.

We can choose the Quality Point Group that we created → the quality control points will automatically be added under the Quality Point tab in the Quality Point Group

QUALITY CHECK GROUPS


1. Go to Quality → Quality Control → Quality Check Groups . Create a Quality Check Group

We can also create Quality Check(s) directly under the Quality Check tab

2. Buttons to mass pass/fail (on the top left corner)

Button Pass
All quality checks within the Quality Check Group will automatically be marked as Passed (check the Status/Stage)

Button Fail
All quality checks within the Quality Check Group will automatically be marked as Failed (check the Status/Stage)

3. If we add a Quality Point Group, the Quality Check Groups will be linked to the Quality Point Group

























Note:
From v17, the Quality Point Groups field in Quality Check Groups will become read-only > we cannot manually add a Quality Point Group directly from Quality Check Groups anymore
In the Quality Point Group, the Quality Check Groups are linked via the Quality Checks smart button

QUALITY CHECKS (ODS)

Go to Quality → Quality Control → Quality Checks . Create a Quality Check


If we add a Quality Check Group → The Quality Check will be automatically added under the Quality Check tab in that Quality Check Group


Note:
1. Quality Checks with the same Quality Point Group will be added to the same Quality Check Group

e.g., 2 products in 2 different Control Points but with the same Quality Point Group > QCs for those 2 products in the same transfer will be added to the same Quality Check Group
In the Quality Checks, you can check all the details about the Quality Check Group , Picking , and the Quality Control Point
In the Quality Check Group, you can see that the Quality Point Group is automatically added as well
2. If the transfer is canceled























> Quality Checks will be deleted













> Quality Check Group will be deleted as well


ARCHIVE QUALITY CHECK GROUPS/QUALITY CHECKS/QUALITY ALERTS

Go to Quality > Quality Check Groups/Quality Checks/Quality Alerts > New or choose the one(s) that you want to archive > Actions > Archive

You have the option to Unarchive as well.
