Odoo has quotation and sales order status but does not propose quotation versioning.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOUR
Cluedoo propose to manage quotation version in order to track all the versions sent to the customer, keep the history and avoid miscommunication with customer.

Create a quotation, send it by email. After sending the quotation, the button Revise Quotation will be shown. Click that button

After clicking Revise Quotation, it records the revised quotation

The revised quotation has additional sequence for version (v1) and the status is archived
