STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO BEHAVIOR

By default, Odoo allows users to configure Automated Actions in the Technical menu to apply specific behaviors to models like Sales Orders or Quotations, but these actions are applied globally or based on predefined conditions across all records of a model. There is no mechanism to manually assign a specific automated action to an individual record (e.g., a specific Quotation or Sales Order) directly from the record’s interface.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
This module enables users to select a specific Automated Action for a Quotation Template, allowing predefined automation to be associated with the template and

Automatically applies the Automated Action defined in the selected Quotation Template to the Sales Order

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

1

Under Sales > Quotation Template, we can select the automated action that we want to use on the sales order.

2

On the sales order, add the field fal_automation_relation , and then  select the Quotation Template. The automated action on the sales order should be the same from the quotation template.
