STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES
ODOO BEHAVIOR
By default, Odoo’s Time Off module allows users to create leave requests with start and end dates, but it does not explicitly support or optimize for requests that span multiple months or years. The system processes these requests as a single block, without breaking them down for reporting purposes across different time periods.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
The Cluedoo Time Off Enhancements module introduces advanced functionality to manage and report on time off requests that span multiple months or years:

Allows creation of Time Off requests with start and end dates in different months or years, seamlessly handling extended leave periods.

Introduces a Time Off Report by Month that displays validated time off requests, broken down by month for clear visibility.

Enables clicking on a time off entry in the Time Off Report by Month to access its detailed form view for viewing or editing.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
1. Create Time Off with the start date and end date is in different months or years.
2. In Time Off Reporting, we have Time off Report by Month. The time off needs to be validated in order to show up here.
3. If we click on the time off in the report, we can see the form view.
