The complete financial cockpit for Odoo 18
Twenty-four reports in one integrated app — statements, audit, partner reports, management reports, inventory, products, a financial-intelligence layer with predictive cash-flow forecasting, and a build-it-yourself dashboard Studio. One set of filters. One screen.
Stop opening five reports to understand one business
In standard Odoo you open the P&L, the Balance Sheet, the Cash Flow, the Aged Receivables and the Tax report separately — each with its own screen and its own filters. Finance Command Center unifies all of them, then adds an intelligence layer that tells you what the numbers actually mean.
Twenty-four tabs, six groups
Statements
Overview · Profit & Loss · Balance Sheet · Cash Flow · Partners (aged AR/AP) · Tax · General Ledger. Each with period comparison and click-through to the journal entries.
Audit
Trial Balance with a live in-balance check · Journal Audit with per-journal summaries and full entry-line detail. Click any account or entry to trace it.
Partner Reports
Partner Ledger (customers or vendors) · Aged Receivable & Aged Payable bucketed Not-due / 1-30 / 31-60 / 61-90 / 90+ — the collection and payment-planning view.
Management
Executive Summary that reads your whole business in plain English · Invoice Analysis · Analytic by cost-centre · Deferred Revenue & Expense.
Operations
Inventory movements on a fast database view with a 12-kind taxonomy · Per-product profitability · Studio, where you build your own dashboards with no code.
Intelligence
Margin Reality · Velocity · Price Leakage · Payment Behavior · Advisor · Oracle — the layer that finds phantom profit, financing gaps and leaking revenue, then forecasts your cash 90 days out.
Studio — a dashboard you made yourself
Pick a metric, pick a chart, pick a date range. Drag it onto a grid. Resize it. Save it. Share it. No code, no XML, no developer.
Eight widget types
KPI tile, bar, line, donut, funnel, top-N list, data table and sparkline — each rendered crisp and light.
Eleven controls, one form
Six data sources, five aggregations, ten date ranges, group-by, color, limit, auto-refresh, and an advanced raw-domain filter for power users.
Numbers tell you what. This tells you why.
Margin Reality
A product can show a healthy paper margin and still drain your cash. Margin Reality subtracts the cost of capital tied up in unpaid invoices, the bad debt you will never collect, and the landed cost of getting goods in — then flags anything whose real margin collapses as phantom profit.
Velocity
Every product runs a cash cycle: time in stock, then time waiting to be paid. Set that against your supplier terms and you get the financing gap — the days you fund the product from your own pocket. A negative gap means it finances itself.
Price Leakage
Between the price you set and the cash that lands, money escapes at every stage — discounts off the list price, returns off the invoice, and invoices that never get paid. The four-price funnel shows exactly how much leaks, and where.
Landed-cost accuracy
Freight, customs and insurance are part of what a product really costs — so Margin and Velocity fold them in automatically. The same item that looked like a 30% margin tells a truer story once the goods are landed.
Advisor & explainability
A daily briefing of anomalies, forecasts and priority actions — ready when you open the tab. And no number is a dead end: click any figure to drill straight to the journal entries, then export the whole tab to CSV with full Arabic support.
Oracle — see the cash before it moves
Oracle projects your cash position 30, 60 and 90 days forward — not from guesswork, but from your real open receivables (weighted by each customer’s actual payment behaviour), scheduled payables, and recurring flow. Expected, best and worst-case bands, plus plain-English insights that tell you why.
Cash-flow forecast
A transparent 90-day projection — every expected inflow traces back to a real invoice. No black box.
Plain-English insights
Built-in narrative explains the trajectory, the danger days and the concentration risks — offline, no setup. Optionally connect your own AI key for a richer briefing.
Goals & alerts
Set a cash floor, a margin target, a DSO limit or a revenue goal. Oracle tracks each and flags breaches — including ones it predicts from the forecast.
Ask Oracle — talk to your finances
A built-in assistant you can chat with. Ask about your cash, forecast or receivables and get answers from your real data — or just say “build a bar chart of revenue by month” and it creates the dashboard widget for you.
Answers from your data
Ask plain-English questions about cash, margins, the forecast or what needs attention — grounded in your actual figures.
Builds widgets for you
Describe a chart or KPI in words and it creates the Studio widget — then drops a link to open it. Read-only by design: it never touches your books.
Works offline too
No API key required for core answers and widget-building. Connect your own free key (Gemini, Groq, DeepSeek) for full free-form conversation.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work on Odoo 18 Community?
Yes. It runs on Community out of the box, and automatically detects Enterprise accounting reports when they are installed.
Is it multi-company and multi-currency?
Yes. Company data is strictly isolated, and amounts are converted at the move date.
Do I need to write code to build a dashboard?
No. Studio is entirely form-driven — pick a source, a field, a chart type and a date range, then drag the widget into place.
Does landed cost require extra setup?
No. If the Odoo landed-costs feature is in use, Margin and Velocity fold those costs in automatically; if not, they simply show zero landed cost.
