Users can securely log in to Odoo using a one-time password (OTP) sent directly to their email—no password required.

Configure Outgoing Mail Server
Go to Settings > Technical > Outgoing Mail Servers, and configure a new server as shown in the image below.

Two Options For Login
There are two login options: one with a standard username and password, and another using email authentication.

Clear UI For OTP Login.
For email authentication with OTP, the screen looks like the one below—enter the email associated with your user account and click Generate OTP.

An OTP will be sent to the associated email address for verification.

OTP Email Template.
The email containing the OTP will look like the one shown in the image below.

Screen For OTP Verification.
Enter the OTP received, as shown in the image below, and click Verify.

OTP Expired.
If the OTP is correct, you will be logged in; otherwise, you'll see an OTP Incorrect warning. If more than 10 minutes have passed, an OTP Expired message will be shown, as displayed below.

Email Login Restrict Group Configuration.
To restrict OTP-based login for specific users, enable the Email OTP Login Restricted group in the user record, as shown below.

If a restricted user tries to log in using OTP, a warning message will be displayed as shown below.

Yes, the app works perfectly well with Odoo Enterprise as well as Odoo Community. Odoo Online (Cloud) does not allow installation of third-party apps and hence this app cannot be installed on Odoo Online.
