Step 1 : Configure Asana Credentials
Configure your OAuth Client ID, Secret Key and Redirect URL to establish a secure connection between Odoo and Asana.
Install the Odoo Asana Integration module from the Apps menu to enable communication between Odoo and your Asana account.
Enter your OAuth Client ID, Client Secret, and Redirect URL obtained from your Asana Developer Console. These credentials are required to authenticate and securely connect Odoo with Asana.
Step 2 : Establish Connection and Import Workspaces & Teams
After configuring your Asana credentials, initiate the authorization process to establish a secure connection between Odoo and Asana. During authentication, you will be redirected to Asana to grant the required permissions for data access.
Click the Connect button to begin the OAuth authentication process and securely link your Asana account with Odoo.
Review and approve the requested permissions in Asana to allow Odoo to access and synchronize data with your selected workspace.
Upon successful authentication, Odoo confirms the connection and becomes ready to import and synchronize Asana Workspaces, Teams, Projects, and Tasks.
Step 3 : Import Projects, Users and Tasks
Once the connection between Odoo and Asana has been established, you can import your Asana Projects directly into Odoo with a single click. The integration automatically creates corresponding Odoo projects and synchronizes project structures, ensuring a smooth migration of project data.
