Define product collections; wholesale, regional, online/offline, etc
Use additional Genesys modules to produce compliant product feeds for your various sales channels,
including Google Merchant Center (Google Shopping), Amazon, eBay, and more
This is a foundational module intended to be used with other Genesys Works modules.
- Simple adding and removing of products to sets; including bulk add
- Reuse sets across multiple product feeds and other Genesys modules
- See which sets a product belongs to on the product page
Manage all of your product feeds in one place
Use Genesys modules to produce compliant product feeds for your various sales channels,
including Google Merchant Center (Google Shopping), Amazon, eBay, and more
Step 1: Categorise Products
Apply categories from taxonomies to your products.
Custom taxonomies allow you to categorise your products in multiple ways;
one way for Google Shopping (using Google's taxonomy), another way for an affiliate platform, and yet another way for Amazon (using Amazon Product Classification).
Step 2: Define Product Sets
Create product sets; collections of products. This could be to specify the products available for a specific market or location, or products for a specific set of customers; such as wholesale or consignment.
Reuse your sets across multiple feeds and other Genesys modules.
Step 3: Define Feeds
Specify a collection, language, pricelist (including currency), and output format.
Use additional free modules to extend your feed with stock levels and delivery methods and costs.
Step 4: Create Access Tokens
A unique URL with an access token gives each platform/partner/party access.
Revoke access at any time without impacting other consumers of your feed.
Monitor feed access requests to identify broken or disused feeds and see update frequency.
Extend Product Management with feed modules
Compliant product feeds for many popular platforms. Each module includes any required taxonomies.
Integrate Product Management feeds with core modules
Enrich your product feeds with these free modules
Product Feeds Website
Specify a website for each product feed and include product page URLs in your feed.
Most implementations will include this module,
but you can still generate product feeds in Odoo if your website is hosted elsewhere; eg; Shopify, Woocommerce, Magemto, etc.
In this case, specify the URL for your products on the product page.
Price: FREE..!
Product Feeds Stock
Specify one or more stock locations for each product feed and include stock levels in your feeds.
Optionally exclude out of stock products from your feeds.
Price: FREE..!
Product Feeds Delivery
Specify one or more delivery methods for each product feed and include delivery costs in your feeds.
Price: FREE..!
Other ways to use Product Management
Website Products
- Create product sets and make them avaialble to partners on your website.
- Assign one or more product sets to partners.
- Supports making products available only for specific customer segments; eg; wholesale, or consignment customers, or segmenting by region.
- Release or withdraw product collections in one action.

Works as intended after some bug fixing
When I first bought and installed this app together with the Google feed it had some bugs that prevented me from creating and editing products and assigning them to categories. Those have all been fixed swiftly by the developer.
Google Merchant Center is able to download the product feed. I'm also using Channable and while it has no problem downloading the feed it has two issues. First is that the product category is given as the id of the category which Channable can't handle somehow and second is that the description contains HTML from the rich text editor. Google doesn't mind those two things tough.

For product variants only the image attached to the product main product is exported and not the image from the variants.
Re: Works as intended after some bug fixing
Thank you for your swift update of your review and rating.
The exports for the Google Product Feed are as per the Google Product Specification and are Google compliant. For specifying the product category, Google's documentation states "It is recommended to use the category ID". This is consistent with data best practises of using surrogate keys. Some third parties may not fully implement the Google specification, or may not implement it correctly. We are not able to guarantee that third parties can correctly consume you product feeds. Where there is a third party using a specification that varies from Google's and there's sufficient demand to integrate with them, we will on request, consider building a module to meet the third party specification.
We will investigate the variation images question that you've raised and revert back to you.
Has some bugs
After installation I now cannot create new products. I'm getting an error one of the fields from this module is missing in a template.
The categories and sets tab on the product details screen is empty. The fields to assign a category from the taxonomy is missing so while my products are exported to Google none of them have a category. The sets tab is also empty so I need to go to the set and then add products that way. This module definitely needs some more work.
After installation the admin user does not automatically receives the correct user rights. I needed to give myself permission to access this module first.
Developer is slow to respond

Developer did not respond to my support question and there is no documentation available.
This module definitely needs some more work.
Re: Has some bugs
This is by design. We do not automatically give users permissions. It is up to the Odoo administrator to determine which users should have rights.
We did respond to your support question, and the issue was resolved promptly as you acknowledged in your post the next day. There will always be a small lead time to investigate an issue and determine if it's a bug or a user or configuration issue. I don't think taking a day to turn around a support request is unreasonable.
The steps to implementation are shown on the module description page and there is a demonstration video that talks through implementation. This is all displayed on the module description page in the Odoo App Store and is available by selecting "Module Info" on the apps Kanban page in Odoo.
We've been using the Product Management modules in our business for around 8 years now and they've been on the App Store since version 18.0. They are mature and evolved products.
