Google Workspace Integration
Google Workspace Integration allows to manage employee accounts with Google Workspace from Odoo. It enables admins to create, link, suspend, activate, and delete Google Workspace accounts for employees.
Google Workspace Configuration
Navigate to the Settings and click on the General Settings menu.
Now, we go to the Google Workspace Section and Activate Enable Google Workspace Services.
Now Enter The Credentials.
Navigate to the Employees and Enter the details of the employee, including their email address.
Ensure that the email address matches the organization's authorized domain (e.g., `companydomain.com`).
Note: If the email domain does not match when attempting to link the user to Google Workspace, the system will display a validation error.
Create Employee Account with Google Workspace
After entering the employee details, navigate to the Settings page.
Under the Google Workspace section, if the employee is new and has not been linked to any Google Workspace account, click the Create User button to create a Google Workspace user and link it to the employee.
Link Employee Account with Google Workspace
If the user already has a Google account, click on the Link User button to link the account with Google Workspace.
Note: If the user does not have an account but tries to link with Google Workspace by pressing the Link User button, a validation error will be displayed.
Suspend Employee Account with Google Workspace
To suspend the Employee from Google Workspace, click on the Suspend User button.
After suspending, the Employee will no longer be able to use any Google services.
Activate Employee Account with Google Workspace
After suspending the employee, if the admin wants the employee to regain access to Google Services, click on the Activate User button.
The employee can then regain access to Google services.
UnLink Employee Account with Google Workspace
To unlink from Google Workspace, click on the Unlink button.
Delete Employee Account with Google Workspace
To delete the employee's account from Google Workspace, click on the Delete button.
Note: Deleting the account will remove the employeeâs Google Workspace account and access to Google services.
