Module Overview

Odoo New Quotation and Sales Order Notification App helps customers and salespersons receive email--> notifications for newly created sales orders and quotations. The module provides configurable settings to choose when to send email notifications, including options for newly created sales, confirmed sales, or both. Additionally, it allows you to send notifications for confirmed website sale orders, and you can configure notifications to be sent to the customer and salespersons upon confirmation of the sale order. Email notifications are automatically triggered based on the selected email templates, ensuring that customers and salespersons are kept informed according to your preferences.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1


Navigate to the 'Settings' menu in Odoo, then select 'Sale' under the Configuration section search " Sale Notification"


Step 2


Select the "Create" option, choose "Sale Order," and select the template for Sale Order creation.


Step 3


Create a Sale Order, and the state will be "Quotation."


Step 4


When the Sale Order is created, the customer will automatically receive an email with the Sale Order details.


Step 5


When we allow the salesperson, the salesperson is also added in the CC, and the salesperson also receives the email.


Step 6


Salesperson also receives the email.


Step 7


Select the "Create" option, and for website orders, also select the template for website order creation.


Step 8


Install Website and eCommerce Modules, and Create Website Order.

Send Email to Customer When Website Order is Created.

Click on Confirm, Select Sale Order, and Choose Appropriate Mail Template.

Confirm sale order.

Receive mail to customer.

Create a purchase order.

The customer will receive an email immediately after the purchase order is created.

Select the 'Confirm' button to confirm the purchase order.

Immediately send an email to the customer.


Step 6


Also, select the 'Create and Confirm' option.


Step 7


Create and confirm the purchase order, and the customer will immediately receive an email.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1


Go to Settings and search for 'Stock Notification' under Inventory.


Step 2


Select the Create option and choose the Delivery Order Creation Template.


Step 3


Go to the Inventory module, navigate to Operations → Transfers → Deliveries, and create a new delivery.


Step 4


When a transfer is created, the customer will immediately receive an email notifying them that their delivery order has been created.


Step 5


Select the Create option and choose the Receipt Creation Template.


Step 6


Go to the Inventory module, navigate to Operations → Transfers → Receipts, and create a new receipt.

Go to Settings, select the Confirm option, and choose the Delivery Order Confirmation Template.

Go to the Inventory module, navigate to Operations → Transfers → Deliveries, open the delivery order, and click Confirm.

When the delivery order is confirmed, the customer will receive a confirmation email notifying them that their delivery has been processed.

Go to Settings, select the Confirm option, and choose the Receipt Confirmation Template.


Step 12


Go to the Inventory module, navigate to Operations → Transfers → Receipts, open the receipt, and click Confirm.


Step 13


When the receipt is confirmed, the customer will receive a confirmation email notifying them that their receipt has been processed.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1


Go to Settings and search for 'Account Notification' under the Accounting module.


Step 2


Go to Settings, select the "Create" option, and choose the template for Invoice Order Creation.


Step 3


Create a new invoice in the Accounting module under Customers → Invoices.


Step 4


The customer immediately receives an email when an invoice is created.


Step 5


Go to Settings, select the "Post" option, and choose the appropriate email template.


Step 6


In the Accounting module, post the invoice.


Step 7


When the invoice is confirmed, the customer immediately receives an email.


Step 8


Then, in Settings, select the "Payment" option and choose the Payment Notification Template.


Step 9


Then, in the Accounting module, click the Pay button, fill in the required information in the wizard, and click the Create Payment button.




Step 10


Then, the customer will receive an email stating that their payment has been processed.

The same process applies for Create & Post and Post & Payment options: Create & Post: The customer receives an email when the invoice is created and posted. Post & Payment: The customer receives an email when the invoice is posted and when the payment is processed.
